Thoughts

This is the first novel that I read. I mean, a general fiction genre. Thank God, this novel was so great. I love the plotline, even though it is quite slow, but it wasn't that really slow, it's just a bit slow. Just a bit. But I can deal with it because I love all the characters in the story, I love everything in this book.

Let me put into three words of this book :

Love, Friendship, Fear.

Sam Carlton is a strong, beautiful woman that has everything that every girls' wants. She is a successful model that has everything she wants and needs, that she never get during her childhood. But behind those beautiful face with a pretty smile, she has hidden very painful memories that hard for her to leave it behind. It follows wherever she goes. Sam Carlton has a twin sister, Bryce Carlton, a sister that she really loves, always with her through thick and thin, share everything together, until one day, Trevor Kincaid came between them, Sam started became close to Trevor, that makes Bryce Carlton insecure. She fears that Sam will leave her for that guy, will forget about her and because of that, she started to socialize with people who have affected her whole life turn way miserable - drugs & alcohol.

So, one day, Sam & Bryce Carlton has been cast and offered to be a model during the high school year. But only Sam Carlton made into being a successful model, while Bryce, she has become so angry, hence, she decided to fling Sam's boyfriend, Trevor and she's pregnant but Sam didn't know it until Bryce died because of overdose.

After many years, since, those things happened, it has deeply left a big scar on Sam's heart. One day, Trevor's daughter shows up at her house, which Grace (Trevor's daughter) thought Sam is her mom, that her dad has lied to her about her mother but the truth is Sam is her aunt. Because of Grace has traced Sam, Trevor now has to deal not only with his daughter but, with the girl whom he loves with all of his heart. But he fears that if Sam involved with him and his daughter's life, it will ruin them. But sometimes, you just never know, life needs a second chance. Both of them, need to give a second chance to make it work.

I'm not going to hurt you, and you won't hurt me. We're different than who we were before.

Honestly, I cried reading this novel. Its really touch my heart so hard that it's hard to move on to my next reading. hmm Anyway, I enjoy this book so much.
