Thoughts
Aha..This is my second time reading A Court of Thorns and Roses (#ACOTAR) and I, now, remember why I kind of a bit mad at Feyre. Here I will share with you the characters, the story and might a bit spoiler from this book (maybe more?) and I bet many of you have read #ACOTAR, isn't it? or Maybe not. Nonetheless, here comes my thoughts.
When I first received this book, I was so ecstatic! And I just jump into this book, pushing away all the books that I currently reading in that particular time, which is last year and, I read it again this year! 😍 The first two chapters were a bit slow and I was like, "wait, why is it slow? No! No! Please, don't!" but then, gosh, I was wrong! So freaking wrong! This is the first book that has to make hook up on reading more fantasy genre! Goodness! It is definitely the best book I ever read! You guys should read, please, if you have not yet read. Go and grab this book and read! Now! I meant it! 😁
Okay! Let stop being overreacting, Fatina. Now, let's talk about what inside the books that have made me fall in love with it. First, the author's writing is amazing, you won't feel like, "ah, why is it too many words", which I mean, how to explain, err, there some books I've had read, fantasy mainly, the writings were like so dull and you will instantly put it under DNF, you won't pick it up to read it. Done. Seal. But this book, nope, you ain't going to feel like that, girl. Its the best and it won't make you stop from reading it.
Second, the characters ;
Feyre - A girl who is so stubborn and never feel afraid of doing things she wants! Well, she is a huntress, by the way. she hunting in a forest for her and family to eat and one day, she killed a faerie and that is the turning point of her life and her family.
Tamlin / Rhysand / Lucien - These 3 powerful Fae Lord in Prythian has made my heart tremble. lol, Well, each of them has their own strength, power, and also very protective.
Third, at first, Feyre has been captured by Tamlin (High Fae of Prythian) because she found guilty in murdering their Faerie, who has been wondering in the mortal land. Thus, she has been brought to the Prythian and been locked in a place that is not even a prison at all, instead, its Tamlin's place, I imagine it as a castle, massive castle witha beautiful garden. Feyre, is free to roam anywhere in that place but in one condition, she could never been able to try to escape from Faerie land.
Though, Feyre living in a land with full of magic, living lavishly but she never thought behind those magical things, with fierce but handsome, Tamlin, there is something, Tamlin hide from her. A very huge secret that she never know what is what. She knows, that there is a 'she' who has a cold heart and ruthless faerie ever. This is when, we will see, Feyre, a human kind, will show her strong side in trying to save the Prythian land.
Overall, its amazing and I could not stop thinking about #ACOTAR! Still, I have the second book to read, which is A Court of Mist and Fury and I can't wait to know what is going to happen in there. Hence, I'm going to start read #ACOMAF, now!
READ. ACOTAR. IF. YOU. HAVE. NOT. YET. READ. 🤗🤗🤗
Rating : ★★★★1/2
