Don't Stay Up Late
Lisa is plagued by nightmares and hallucinations after a horrible accident that landed her in the hospital for weeks. Lisa is happy to take a babysitting job to get her mind off of the terrible events of the past. But then her friends begin dying one by one. Are Lisa's nightmares coming true?
This is my first time reading R.L.Stine's novel. I know it supposed to be scary, if you're a kid but it doesn't work on me as I am already a grown up girl lol I almost DNF this but I'm curious of what is it all about, I need to know what happen to Lisa's friends and who is Harry and who is the monster? I don't want to be leave hanging from that, hence i finish reading but somehow, I know deep down it feel quite empty when I'm done. Overall, it did make me stir some feeling in me by remembering how does it feel when I was a kid.

Party Games
Rachel is thrilled to be invited to Brendan Fear's exclusive birthday party on Fear Island. When Rachel arrives at the island, a scavenger hunt turns up some horrifying surprises. Soon, Rachel has to fight to survive the dead-liest game of all - the game of murder.
In the beginning of Party Games, I am so thrilled to know what is in this whole story about. I'm hoping it will be great since, it does interest me but of all I know, I feel so disappointed. My expectation going down and down and down. It just about a bunch of high school kid who goes to party at Brendan Fear's private island having some kind horror scavenger hunt but it turns out nothing instead they have an uninvited people who try do something worst to them. A plot twist that I really do not looking for and isn't up to my expectations. I'm trying to love but I couldn't.

What would you do? Would you open your eyes, if you were the one who heard them? Two magic-takers from another world, arguing about whether they can collect what they came for before you wake up. It sounds like a crazy dream, or a practical joke. But what if the air around you started to vibrate with an invisible force field? What if, all at once, it felt terrifying yet familiar too? You would have no way of knowing that your life would change forever. That this discovery would set you on path no-one from our world was taken for centuries. Towards a deadly enemy, and a fight that you will almost certainly lose. All you know is that your heart is beating so fast you're worried they will hear it, and your brain is starting to buzz as the force field reaches it. Would you open your eyes? Join Jax and Shannon as they live through the most exciting and terrifying ten days of their lives (so far).
What if one day you discover yourself having a magic just like harry potter? The most exciting thing is that you could travel into a parallel dimension that you never know exist right in your own garden. Isn't that would be the most exciting things to happen in your life? It sounds awesome to me.
Anyway, I love Jax and Shannon, really love how they two work together - Jax helping Shannon to unleashed and to learn to use her magic and both of them go to save the world from evil. Even though they are still young but I do admire their teamwork, willing to learn more and really know how to handle a worst situation also they do have a quick thinking figureout what should they do and how to do it. All in all, it is an enjoyable reading. I love it.

At Beverly Hills High, you have to be ruthless to survive...Adriana Bottom always wanted to be liked. But this wasn't exactly what she had in mind. Now, she's in the spotlight...and out of her geeky comfort zone. She'll do whatever it takes to turn the rumor mill in her favor - even if it means keeping secrets. So far, it's working. Wear the right clothes. Say the right things. Be seen with the right people. Kevin, the adorable sketch artist who shares her love of all things nerd, isn't exactly the right people. But that doesn't stop Adrianna from crushing on him. The only way she can spend time with him is in disguise, as Princess Andy, the masked girl he's been LARPing with. If he found out who she really was, though, he'd hate her. The rules have been set. The teams have their players. Game on.
To make it short, Secrets of a Reluctant Princess is about Adrianna and her family is from Seattle has hit a jackpot from her dad's toilet business has move to Beverly Hills live in a luxury and also having a reality show about them. Back when she live in Seattle, she been bullied by her schoolmate because she's is geeky nerd kind of person also because of her dad's business - toilet. But things change when she moves to Beverly Hills where her high school friends wants to be friends with her. She feel overwhelm from that situation and wants to be like them - try hard to stay from those geeky, nerd people which happen to be Kevin, a guy who she has crush on and now, the adventure begins.
Adrianna might having no confidence after what had happened to her before in Seattle, she think that it is okay to be blended with people around her, become ruthless and all. She feels that herein new school she feel welcome, people want to be friends with her despite knowing her family business but she also realize those people just want to be friends with her because she rich, a celebrity. Because of that, she afraid to be open to what she loves which is a comic things being geeky and all. But she knows that she is already have a crush on Kevin, a nerdy geek guy. Though, her friends said that she should not be friend with him. That frustrate her a lot. So, she make decision to disguise as Princess Andy through joining LARPing (Live-Action-Playing) where people wearing costume dressing up as a characters. It sounds fun to me!
It did tires me out with her attitude and been disguised but I guess that is what the title of the book is about a reluctant princess. She reluctant to do things she loves, reluctant to tell other people what she wants to do. Anyways, it quite entertaining to read, a light reading I must say. Maybe you should try to read it.
