Summary
Saving the world, one stop at a time.
Join Bitsy in the second installment of her attempts to stop a magical war threatening Arizona and all those who call it home. With the help of a human, a sexy dragon, and the members of her band, Bitsy must stop an angry mob of chaos demons before the band leaves for their next tour stop.
It’s nice to be needed, but Bitsy has no idea how to defeat the demons and she just might get herself killed trying. But then, at least one problem would be solved...
Fitting in doesn’t matter if you’re dead.
The second installment of The Secret Lives of Rockstars is a continuation of what Bitsy has left behind. When she thought, the 'war' is over but the truth it was not over yet. Bitsy need to do something in order to save Arizona and for the people who live in Arizona. It is her important task that needs to prevent before something bad happen.
The story starts with Bitsy doing her tour with the band as usual and she did having fun except her mind is really not focus on the concert. The task she holds has a kind of burden her. Bitsy, she is a tough woman and her action is based on whatever comes to her mind first and what she thinks is right for the moment. I love her character because that's what you supposed to do when the times are crucial and you can't take too many times, isn't it? She is fantastic especially when she calls her sword and it comes right away when she needs it.
Eric. He sounds awkwardly amazing and handsome at the same time. To be honest, I want Eric and Bitsy to be together because they are perfectly fit for each other. I love how protective Eric is towards Bitsy.
The plot is fantastic, it does bring me to the imagination world though I never been to Arizona (yet, hopefully, one day) but it seems that, the way Suzanne Lazear's writing feels surreal and it really makes me feels like I am in that place and seeing how all the character's trying their best to protect Arizona.
All in all, The Secret Lives of Rock Stars is not something you thought it will be, everything is a secret including their true identity. Hence, the title.
