I'd picked the book right after I'm watching The Greatest Showman last week with having a bit same setting which it is running around the circus has pushed the urge of me in reading the Flying Tips For Flightless Birds and it really does make me enjoy reading it.

The story is narrated by Finch while his sister, Birdie writing on a blog about circus' life that makes the story interesting also with the sense of humor adding up to the story that I cannot stop laughing at certain things that the characters said and when the twins (Finch and Birdie) encounter the mean girls, they do know how to handle and still it won't have any effect on them no matter how harsh their words are - because they have in confidence in themselves that they manage to be on how they become eventually.

The representations of love, friendship, family, senses of humor and it show how to be yourself in Flying Tips For Flightless Birds makes it super wonderful to read and since we are living in a world where technology has already become part of our life, you know - with social media account we have, we write and we share in our day that what makes this felt so close to our heart as it depicts the real things in our life.

Finch is a teenage boy and very close to his twin, Birdie, so when, Birdie decided to search for something else other than the daily things they do every day together - Finch feel a pinch of left out and the fact that he is hesitant to start a new friendship with a boy named Hector makes his presence in their life, however, the friendship starts to bloom and it goes stronger day by day.

However, the only thing that I'm a bit disappointed with the book was how on the critical scene run so fast and it felt like in a rush - like 'boom! it's already been resolved.' But that does not stop liking the book still.

Pssst: The circus performances are definitely "wow' me! I know I didn't see it in front my eyes but the imagination from the author to the reader is friggin' AHHHH-MAHHH-ZINNNGG!

Anyhow the debut author, Kelly McCaughrain has is freaking genius writer that her writing is spot on which made me as a reader who never been to any circus in my whole felt like I have been one and I would love to be part of the team! As Roddy Doyle said, "This novel really does sparkle," and I second that.

So, for the fans of Circus, The Greatest Showman, the novel written by debut author - Kelly McCaughrain - Flying Tips For Flightless Birds is definitely recommended for you to read.
