August has opened their doors - we are welcome to a new month. Hello, August. July has been great. I believe I'm in cloud nine throughout the month as July is my birthday month. I'm enjoying it and I'm grateful for all the things I have had received. Not only that, July is quite a busy month for us with all the stuff I need to do, my sister is pursuing her dream career which I am excited for her while my youngest sister is study hard for an upcoming exam (SPM). I can't believe my sisters are all grown up now and I feel old.
There are so many things I would like to share here with you, therefore, let's start with things that I love doing which is reading.
To compare with my previous month, I suppose July was where I feel motivated to read more books. I managed to read seven books excluding The Potion Diaries as I have read that in June somehow I forgot to include it on my June wrap-up. For some reasons, there are two books from my TBR lists I didn't read that is Heartless by Marissa Meyer and The Girl With The Lost Smile by Miranda Hart instead I change it to other books.
Considering that fact, here are reviews I have written in July;

It's been a while since I last read Malay novel and it feels so good to get hands-on books that honestly amazing. Jika Aku by Anna Lee is the first Malay novel I read published by Prolog and would positively buy more books from Prolog. Do recommend me more books from them, I would love to know about it.
Oh yes, if there any other local publisher, do recommend it to me as well as I am currently want to broaden my reading. For now, I do know and read BukuFixi, I heard about Lejen but have not yet read any books from them.
Moving on to the movie, Korean drama, and TV Shows I have watched.
So far, I have only watched one movie at the cinema which is Ant-Man and The Wasp. I got free two tickets from Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) in which I redeem from their website as a birthday reward.
Ant-Man and The Wasp was an enjoyable movie. It was entertaining and amusing which gives us plenty of joyful from watching the movie.
Have I spoiled the movie? I hope not. Anyway, if you have not watched this movie yet, go and watch it.
Into the next, what Korean drama I have watched last month? Let me think for a minute. 1 minute... 2 minutes... 3 minutes...
Oh yes, I did! Only two dramas, though. I think that's because there are not many Korean dramas that captivate my heart last month. Anyway, those two dramas I have watched are Wok of Love and About Time. I do love these two Korean dramas.
Wok of Love is about these two couples who have gone through a broken marriage and eventually, they met and work together at a shabby restaurant. It is where they develop their interest. However, this drama also about the lead guy who is a chef used to work at the famous hotel somehow being fired which he decides to work in a small restaurant. By ill luck, someone stole his recipe's notes.
Whereas, About Time is a drama where the lead woman has an ability to envision people's lifespan. It's like there's a small clock on people's body and hers is on the wrist. While it is cool but it's indeed petrifying. So, when she accidentally met this guy, she realizes that her lifespan is increasing and she decides to be near the guy.
What made July special to me? Let see.
I got a brand new laptop! Although, it was not a brand that I have always wanted which is Acer still I am happy and grateful for this new cool laptop. The previous laptop that I have used for the last ten years is still working fine despite glitching here and there.
The budget that I have to buy this new laptop is around RM2000. Thankfully, I found one. With the help of my dad and the staff who knows about this technology, enough to say I managed to get what I want.
Other than that, in July I have received gifts from my sister, a wonderful birthday treats from my family, an unexpected gift from Prolog and a gift from me to myself.
Generally said, I'm at the happiest state that I have ever been. Thank you all for the gifts and wishes. ❤❤❤
Honestly, I have so many other things I would like to share here with you, but I think that's all for now. Till next time.

Anyhow, this time, their mission is to save Hope van Dyne's mother who has trapped in the sub-atomic quantum realm. Hence, they need to get into the tunnel that they have to build to pull out their mother from the trap. In between their mission, they somehow have been attacked by a masked woman and also from the black market dealer who also wants that quantum realm tunnel lab (I think that's what it call).

ReplyDeleteAbout time was kinda slow to me, but I do love the storyline though.. I only watched Wok of Love as I love Jang Hyuk's (the gangster) acting but it's heartbreaking seeing him being rejected.. :V
I love it whenever people come together and share opinions.
