I decided to write a post that shares my favorite movie/TV shows that I have watched on Netflix and maybe, I will do it once or twice a month - depends on how many movies/TV shows I have watched on Netflix. Having to say that, I decided the title will be "Sundae Netflix" because you can chill watching Netflix with Sundae ice cream or even any kind of snacks, right? Since I started watching Netflix months ago with my Sundae Chocolate ice cream (oh, please request it with double chocolate + french fries = I'm Lovin' it!) from McDonald's, I figure I should put the title with the word; 'Sundae'?
Anyway, let's begin this post with the movie that hit on Netflix in which, many people have loved the movie also enjoy watching it. I guess you might have already figured it out by now.
Let's just jump into the movies that based on books;
To All The Boys I've Loved Before
'Cause the more people that you let into your life, the more that can just walk right out.
An adaptation from To All The Boys I've Loved Before's novel written by Jenny Han which I have read the book and yes, I love the book as much as I love the movie. It's a cute, sweet romance and the family relationship between the Song's sisters and their father are..lovely even I know how annoying Kitty is (well, she is just like my youngest sister, super annoying but I love her still) and not to forget the cinematography of this movie are the best!
Needless to say, the letters are all out and my advice is; watch the movie!
pssst; I've watched this movie for I don't even know how many times and the best thing is I heard there will be a sequel just like the books. Yay!!!
The Kissing Booth
Okay guys, I just realized that this movie is based on a novel. How can I not know about this before? I seriously just know about it a few minutes ago. Duh! I definitely going to find that novel soon. So, The Kissing Booth is a cute, quirky romance and a wonderful friendship!
So, here's the thing; The Kissing Booth is about Elle, the girl who never been kissed and has a huge crush on her best friend's older brother, Noah. Elle and her best friend, Lee had been friends ever since they were kids and since then, they have been maintained their friendship, for that, they have set up a few rules which one of them is "relatives of your best friend are off limits." Aha, you know what will happen next. You might want to put it under "to-watch-list".
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society
The word 'literary' caught my attention that leads me to watch this movie. It is historical fiction that set during world war II. The people who live on an island in Guernsey form a book club named "The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society" that has caught Juliet's (an author living in London) attention after Dawsey Adams, a man from the book club sent her a letter. She decided to write about the society and arrange her schedule to travel to the island which after that she learns a lot about the people and the Guernsey Island.
I love this movie, it gives me a lot of things that I couldn't express it in words. I will be going a book hunting to find this book. Soon, I hope.
These are some movie that based on books that I've watched recently on Netflix. I will be doing this series regularly on my blog when I've done compiling all the movie/tv shows.
What movie that is based on books have you watch recently?
I've The Kissing Booth on wattpad before and I couldn't believe that the book become so popular that Netflix bought it.
