Synopsis

In the third book in the Curiosity House series, you will find:
- A nefarious spy within Dumfrey’s Dime Museum
- A very unfortunate flea circus
- An evil plot to destroy New York
- A beautiful and mysterious tattooed lady

The extraordinary orphans Sam, Pippa, Thomas, and Max have just started to recover from their capture and subsequent escape from the evil Nicholas Rattigan. But the children’s lives don’t stay quiet for long. A slew of bank robberies is terrorizing the city. And when General Farnum, the ringmaster of the museum’s immensely popular flea circus, is charged with murder, the search for the real killer uncovers a plot much bigger than any individual crime—a plot that can only be the work of Nicholas Rattigan.

thought

Many have said that this the final series of The Curiosity House and in that case, I just could not believe that it has already come to an end. It's really a wonderful, joy following the adventure, mystery cases of these series.

For the third series of The Curiosity House, the extraordinary kids are to face another case that's happening around them with numerous bank robberies rising up in the city, an unfortunate incident happened to General Farnum, the popular flea circus been charged with murder and of course, it will lead to the one and only evil mastermind behind all these - Nicholas Rattigan.

The plot story in The Fearsome Firebird is enjoyable and I'm reading this book in just only two sitting because I am really curious to what is going to happen at the end of this book - will all the secrets that have been circling around the kids going to be revealed? Or will it be a happy ending? - I was just curious. These extraordinary kids are definitely wonderful and surprisingly, I feel connected with them quickly than before.

However, there are still a few things that are left unanswered like what is it that Dumfrey hiding from the kids and what actually happened to Rattigan? Is it really end of this series, I doubt so because things didn't really end the way I expected it to be. Despite that, it was a wonderful read following this adventure with all the extraordinary kids and I am secretly hoping, it will be at least another series for this book.

If you and/or your kids searching for a good adventure/mystery book, you might want to choose these series and read it.
