It's now less than 10 days to the new year and I am so looking forward to the new year, a new adventure, new book release and so much more hence, I decided to write a post starting today (well, hopefully!) basically of what I like/love reading and watching or discover new things and recap of 2018 and a few other ideas I am considering to write.
That being said, I shall start with top 10 books that are my most favourite read in 2018. 10 might be not enough but I might add a few more into this post and that, I shall start now. Let's get into it;
Lady Midnight (The Dark Artifices #1) by Cassandra Clare
Rating:
Thoughts: I finished reading this last month and I was instantly hooked with the story, plot and the characters. It was an amazing read. I could not put the book down once I start reading it. It really feels so good to be back in the Shadow Hunter world.

Thoughts: Another fantastic reading I have read this year. Right after I finish with Caraval, I start the second book right away and bam! I got hooked by it. I have been looking forward to knowing more about Tella since Caraval since she was one of the one behind the game. Thus, this second book is Tella's story.

Rating:
Thoughts: Ahh, my most recent reading and it was the new release book also the movie was released last month though I haven't watched the movie yet. I was a little bit of regret for not watching the movie when it released last month and I don't remember why I didn't. Duh. Anyhow, I am super stocked when I read The Original Screenplay and I can imagine how awesome the movie is. I even read this two times in a short time after I finish the first time.

City of Ghosts (Cassidy Blake #1) by Victoria Shwab

Thoughts: I really do enjoy the adventure of Cassidy and her ghost friend, Jacob. There is a hilarious part, kinda spooky part when she enters the veil and intense part when she has to fight with the red raven. All in one story, the adventure, the ghost hunting, the ghost friend - I have to say this is one of my favourite read in 2018.

Scarlet Reign: Malice of The Dark Witch by R.D. Christ

Rating:
Thoughts: I was skeptical with this book at first like would it be another fight between the evil witches and a good witch. Boy, I was wrong. In this new fantasy book, it was different from a typical witches story, the story starts with the main MC who has zero knowledge of what power she has and how to use it. I really love and enjoy reading this fantastic book.

Moxie by Jennifer Mathieu

Rating:
Thoughts: Girl power! I really love the energy from all the woman in this book especially the one - Vivian - who started and created the Moxie zine. She is very passionate and stands firms with her opinion and her thoughts. I love how every woman in Moxie comes together and support each other.
