Monthly Wrap Up : July, A Month of Love

monthly wrap up

First thing first, praise to the Almighty. I am truly happy and grateful for all the things I have and received especially in the month of July. Syukur Alhamdulillah. July has been wonderful for me. I was in a cloud nine and I pray to Allah swt for it to stay this way. Insha Allah.

So, July. It is my mom and my birthday month. It is really a wonderful month, taste new food, surrounded by amazing books also meeting new wonderful people. It is a pleasure to meet them all.

Anyway, how are you, people? I wish you in pink of health and may happiness find you in this new month. New month, new day, new thing to discover and new thing to look forward to!

I guess I shall start the July monthly wrap up. Here we go ~

Birthday

In July, there is two birthday to celebrate and they are my lovely mama and myself. We both share the same birthday month. Yay! The cake on the left is a surprise gift from my baby sister and I like the look when my mom saw the cake. It was a really wonderful evening to celebrate together. While on the right was a surprise from my adik (my second sister) for me. I was...so touched and I cried. Suddenly, there is a birthday song in Molten and the staff there holding the plate and sang the birthday song for me. I will never forget that moment. I will forever remember it. Thank you to two my sisters - adik and baby for the surprised!

note: I feel old now!!!

Books I Have Read

I managed to read 5 books which is so much better than in the month of June because I only read two books. Can you believe that? I don't know. Reading slump hit me hard in June and kind of frustrated with myself. Well, thanks to Zelda - Breath of the Wild. I have been too focused on playing with that game until now. hiks. Anyhow, July is where redemption has been made.

Here are the books I have read and reviewed on the blog:

πŸ‘ We Are Blood and Thunder by Kesia Lupo - 3 πŸŒŸ "I am so want to love it like really love the story so much, however, I will only going to like it and that's all." Want to know why? Click to read my review!

πŸ‘ The Girl Who Came Out of the Woods by Emily Barr - 3🌟 "Not sure what I felt about this book, honestly. One time I felt connected to the story but another time, it wasn't." I have not written the review yet.

πŸ‘ Scars Like Wings by Erin Stewart - 4.5🌟 "profound, uplifting, vulnerable and very emotional" Click to read the review.

πŸ‘ Alena by Kim W. Anderson - 3🌟 "I was so excited to read a graphic novel that I think I put a high expectation on it and I kind of like it but I don't? I don't know. It's complicated."

πŸ‘ The Boy with Blue Trousers by Carol Jones - 4🌟 "I was really engrossed with the story of this book. It is really captivating." Click to read the review.
