Stella has been living behind the magic of the forest for most of her life. Lonely, she enrolls at the local school, and as she begins to make friends, she discovers that she is even more different than she thought. But as autumn turns to magical winter, Stella realizes that uncovering her own family secret is the only way to release the forest from the grip of a dark and old magic.

I love magical story with faes, fairies, and other wonderful creatures as well. This is definitely an amazing read that middle-graders and adults will surely enjoy reading this book. I certainly am enjoying reading the book.

Stella who has been living with her Nan and Peg since she was a kid. Her life has been filled with reading and spending time with her Nan and Peg. However, her heart desire to meet 'normal' friends, to go to school and such thus, she decided to enroll herself to a school nearby although she knows her Nan for sure will not agree with it but she wants and she did it. Little did she know, there will be lots of things that she will discover the moment she steps into the school that will change her life.

The story flows wonderfully and easily throughout the reading session that you would not want to stop reading it. Your heart just wants to know what is going to happen next and next. I admire Stella. When her heart says, she wants meaning she will do it and she will succeed with it. Truly an amazing girl. I love her character. A strong, independent girl, not afraid to embark into a new journey.

Shadows of Winterspell is really magically wonderful with a deep meaning when can get from the characters. I really recommended you to read the book. Kudos to the author for writing such an enchanting, amazing book.
