2018 List of Korean Drama To Watch [Part One]

There are many new Korean dramas that have been released since early 2018 and you will easily get distracted when it comes to choosing which drama shall you watch first with things you need to be doing first before enjoy watching the drama. In case, you forget which Korean drama has already released since early 2018, I am here to help you to list it for you (and for myself too!).

So, I decided to compile Korean Drama that I know release from early 2018 and that been recommended by a friend and/or from a social media.

Without me babbling much, I shall start writing right away, like right now. By the way, the list is in no particular orders.

Radio Romance (January 29th, 2018 - March 21st, 2018)

Synopsis

Song Geu-Rim works as an assistant radio program writer. Her mother became blind when Song Geu-Rim was 14-years-old. Afterward, she listened to the radio frequency with her mother. This led Song Geu-Rim to become a radio program writer, but she isn't exactly talented in writing. Her radio program DJ suddenly leaves Korea and Song Geu-Rim loses her job at the radio broadcasting station. Meanwhile, PD Lee Gang comes back to Korea from India. Sometimes he acts insane, but he is generally good at his job. Lee Gang suggests to Song Geu-Rim that if she can cast Ji Soo-Ho as the DJ of their new radio program, she can work as the main writer of their radio program. Ji Soo-Ho is a top actor. He and his parents look perfectly happy, but in fact, they are only acting as a happy family. Ji Soo-Ho suffers from depression and he can't sleep without taking sleeping pills. Psst: I am currently watching this drama, I'm on episode 9 and I can say that I enjoy watching this drama. A light, fun Korean drama to watch.

My Golden Life (September 2nd, 2017 - March 11th, 2018)

Synopsis

Revolves around a woman who has a chance to rise in status and a man who finds happiness in her.

A mother's misguided love has caused her daughters to get swapped in status, and so the heroine Seo Ji-an enters the chaebol household to have a better life without knowing she is actually not their long-lost daughter, but her "former twin" sister instead. What will happen to her once the secret gets revealed, and what will happen to her relationship with the son of chaebol family Choi Do-Kyung, whom she has gotten closer to as siblings? Psst: It's been awhile since I watch longest airing drama but this is exceptionally, it revolves around the family that what makes me anticipated to watch them.

That Man Oh Soo (March 5th, 2018 - April 2018)

Synopsis

Oh Soo is a man in his 20's and works as a promising engineer in the IT field, a cafe owner, and a barista. He is smart and handsome. He plays cupid for you men and women by using a mysterious pollen. Due to the pollen, he falls in love with Seo Yoo-Ri. She is also in her 20's and works as a police officer. She has a bright personality and supports her family by herself.

Cast: Lee Joon-Hyun, Kim So-Eun

Psst: I have not yet watched this drama yet but the synopsis sound interesting, so why not?

Misty (February 2nd, 2018 - March 24th, 2018)

Synopsis

Go Hye-Ran is a popular anchorwoman for a prime-time news show. She works hard at her job. One day, Go Hye-Ran becomes the suspect in a murder case. Her husband is Kang Tae-Wook. He worked as a prosecutor in the past, but he now works as a public defender. Their marriage has also been on the rocks. Kang Tae-Wook decides to defend his wife and they fall in love again. Cast: Kim Nam-Joo, Ji Jin-Hee, Jeon Hye-Jin

Psst: I saw a post by my blogger friend, Nadia which has made me curious about the drama and I ask her, what is the drama title, so she said, 'Misty' and I google it right away. Excited to watch this soon. Thank you, Nadia! 

Laughter in Wakiki (February 5th, 2018 - April 2018)

Synopsis

Kang Dong-Goo dreams of becoming a movie director, but he is cynical due to bad luck. Cheon Joon-Ki wanted to follow in his father's footsteps and become an actor, but he is now just a minor actor. Bong-Doo-Sik came to Seoul to become a scenario writer, but things have not been easy for him.

These 3 men run the guest house Waikiki in Itaewon, South Korea. Their guest house is facing bankruptcy and then a mysterious baby and single mother appear at Waikiki.

Cast: Kim Jung-Hyun, Lee Yi-Kyung, Son Seung-Won

Psst: Watch the trailer and it is kind of hilarious drama, so I shall put it on my list to watch (and maybe you should too).
