Synopsis
Dylas has always wanted a superpower, especially since his brother and sister have got really awesome ones.
But when his wish finally comes true, Dylan is royally cheesed off. Oh great, he can talk to iguanas...
Rubbish!
Then, supervillain Celina Shufflebottom kidnaps all the superheroes in London - it's time for Dylan to be a hero.
Can he save the day and make Iguana Boy cool?
First thing, I love the writing concept for Iguana Boy Saves The World. It is very easy to read including with those cute illustrations and it has comic strips in the book that is very interesting and I certainly it will make all children who read this book will able to enjoy their reading because I am.
Anyway, the story is about, Dylan, who has yet received any superpower unlike his siblings who have already been accepted by the Superhero Collective and they already have assigned to save the world in which, it makes Dylan kind of envy with them having to receive their superpower. Somehow that one day, without Dylan realize, his superpower is finally visible to him only that his superpower is talking to iguanas and understand what Iguanas said which..kind of useless? Although it sounds useless, he never gave up to be a superhero despite being teased by his siblings but at first, he tries his best to kept it secret from his brother. Not until The Platypus Kid kidnapped all the superheroes and that left him to save the world which his so excited to do that.
There is a funny, hilarious moment when I read the book and I kind of enjoy reading it. I find it so cute and Dylan power is quite amazing as he can talk to animal although only to Iguanas but the moment when they're on the mission, plotting plans on how to save the world with the iguanas sharing their ideas is quite fascinating to read. Iguana Boy Saves The World is suitable for the kid's age 7 and up, I certain that they will be more enjoy reading it and with the amazing illustrations, the kids will love it.
