review

With current situation, we are all in; a quick, magical read definitely needed. I love the storyline right from the beginning of the story. It flows beautifully without any hitch and you know you cannot put this book down not until you know what/why the evil did to them.

The story follows with Alfie Blackstack who been living in a city with his parents. However, an unfortunate end struck his parents which left him an option to live with his two weird aunts who are actually witches. Living with his two aunts is actually a start of a new adventure that he never thought he will be also he met a new friend; one that he calls as his best friend. When the head witch apprehends Alfie's aunt, he knows he needs to do find a way by using magic to help his aunt Zita also to help his new best friend's sister who has been lock in a magical snowball. Together with Calypso (Alfie's best friend), they need a plan, magical spells to fight the head witch. Question is, are they going to win the fight? You need to find it in this magical adventure book.

I enjoy reading Everyday Magic. It was beautifully written by the author. Easy for you to follow the story especially to all middle graders to savour this magical story. I can't get enough of this story. The friendship between Alfie and Calypso is so relatable. They fight but they make it right and apologize to each other again. I love the story I hope there might be a continuation from this story.

This book will be available at all good bookstores on June 4th, 2020.
