When a body is pulled out of an office fire, three women are first in line for questioning.
All of them have reasons for wanting revenge against the company’s CEO.
It could be Laura, who has returned to work to find that her maternity cover isn’t leaving. The CEO insists he’s doing what’s best for the company. Laura isn’t convinced he’s telling the truth.
Or there’s Mia. Brought in as temporary cover for Laura, she has quickly made herself indispensable – and popular with her colleagues. But if people knew why she was so desperate to keep her job, they might not welcome her so freely.
Then there’s Janie, wife to the CEO, who gave up her courtroom career to support her husband and his business. She has her own secret to protect – and will go to any length to keep it safe.
They never thought it would come to this.

It's been a while since I last read the thriller genre which I am currently in the mood of reading it and now I have it in my hand I have nothing but to dive into the story right away after finish my last previous read.
Three Perfect Liars is really a captivating, full of suspense and each of the characters has their own secrets and agendas. The story follows with Laura who has worked at Morris and Wood for many years but due to the birth of her baby, she will be on leave for about 6 months. For that reason, she needs to find someone who can in charge of her only temporarily. However, things got a bit different when she came back she saw the staff she hired temporary has become permanent at the company. And that, she is not happy with. She needs to find out why Mia decided to stay and why her boss makes her permanent also why Mia gets to hold the biggest client that supposed to be Laura's.
Mia, the woman who has been hired by Laura. She is supposed to be temporary working at Morris & Wood's company. Mia has her own agendas of why she wants to stay permanently at the company. Many people at the company love her and happy to be around her also that, some of them revealing a secret to her which she decided to help and making it as one of the agenda.
Lastly, Janie. She is the wife of the CEO of Morris & Wood. Previously she works as a barrister somehow, she decides to quit to follow her husband to move to a new city beside she thinks it is the best decision since she will able to take care of her two children. Even so, things are not as easier as it thought to be. The sacrifices she made do not feel right and her marriage starts to drifting apart. She has a secret that she held in her but when she met again with the person things does not seem fine.
When the fire burns down the company's building, the three women decide to keep their mouth shut. Who among the three is the person who put the fire down on the company?
Three Perfect Liars is downright intriguing, a slow-burn story, and quite exciting. The story well-written with interesting aspect included in it like a police interview with the 3 MC and other characters as well. It was told in alternate POV although it was a bit confusing at first but after a few pages, you will get to follow the flow of it. Overall, it was an interesting story that keeps you stay put at your seat though the ending was not really satisfying to me. I'm hoping it has more stories of it.
more like backstaber is it?
