How I Saved The World in a Week is about Billy, he has been thought by his mother on life survival in case something huge going to happened in the future. He practically know how to find direction through the sun using the shadow stick and so much more. After something bad happened, Billy's mom been admitted to the hospital while Billy been sent to live with his father. Live with his father, he met Angharad and Anwar where they become good friends.
The fact that the story is engaging which is enough to make stick with the book although there are some hitch here and there with a slow pace yet I managed to get through the story. I like it especially when Billy's mother thought him the survival skill and he managed to pull it off and teach some of the skill to his friends. I love that! For the most part, I am quite angry with Billy's father because he doesn't trust his son and keep on deny about what has happened and what he has saw. Quite frustrating actually. Anyhow, when the greys is finally out and people are running away to find the safest place with the family the intensity of the story increasing which makes me scared and felt like I'm in that particular moment with them. It was so scary!
How I saved the world in a week is thrilling, heartfelt and the writing is wonderful. I like the story.
