I couldn't remember the last time I read a sports romance. This book is super adorable. I really want to read as fast as I can, but at the same time, I do not want it to end! I absolutely love this story.
As a Star Wars fan, I'm excited to see it mentioned here. Dressed up like Princess Leia? Well, if you watch the movie, then you can imagine how it looks. Ronan Smith is an NFL quarterback. He has everything he ever wanted in his life. However, life struck him hard. He lost his job, he lost his fiancee, and he goes down to a pithole. He has been grieving ever since that day. Until the day he met a mysterious woman, things started to change, but he couldn't remember who she was. Nova is a fan of Ronan Smith, but what happened between the two of them at their first meeting has made her mad. After her mother passed away, she packed her things and moved back to her hometown. I guess fate has brought them together. In her hometown, she once again meets Ronan Smith. What makes it even more interesting is that Ronan lives just beside her house.
I love how the story begins and how the progression between the two of them develops from time to time. It wasn't easy to trust someone, and it is not easy to open your heart after what has happened in your life. I love how they communicate through it and try their best to make it right, even if it's not as easy as it seems. Their chemistry is really amazing! I love how funny and sarcastic the beautiful Nova can be. While Ronan Smith is indeed very sweet.
This is now added to my list of new favourite authors! Ilsa has definitely written an engaging, heartwarming, and super sexy meet-cute story! I can't get enough of the book! They meet again, starting off with a fake relationship that turns into a real one. I have been stuck with the story for the longest time. I hope there will be more books by Ilsa Madden-Mills.
