I’m destined to become the next CEO of my family’s media empire.
The only problem? My grandfather’s inheritance clause.
Fulfilling his dying wish of getting married and having an heir seemed impossible until my assistant volunteers for the job.
Our marriage was supposed to be the perfect solution to my biggest problem.
But the more we act in love for the public, the more unsure I feel about our contract.
Caring about Iris was never part of the deal.
Especially not when breaking her heart is inevitable.
Iris
My plan to marry Declan was simple in theory.
Move in together. Throw a wedding. Have a baby.
We set rules to prevent any kind of issues.
Ones that were never meant to be broken, no matter how much Declan tempts me.
But what happens when our fake relationship bleeds into our real one?
Falling in love was never an option.
At least not for me.
This is the first book in "Dreamland Billionaires" I read. I haven't read the first book, so I'm a bit worried, but it is a relief to know that it can be read as a standalone. Yay! Oh, my goodness! I think I have my favourite romance book for this year! I'm obsessed with the book. I loved everything about this book. It's everything that I want in one story.
The story follows Declan, who wants to be the CEO, but in order to do that, he has to fulfil his grandpa's will, which is to get married and have a child. For that, he is on the lookout to find a wife; however, the woman who should be his wife bails out. Hence, Iris, who has worked with him for three years and knows much about him, decided to step in to be his future wife. However, falling in love is never part of the deal, but fate says otherwise.
"If hearts could melt into puddles, mine would be liquified right about now."
