Synopsis
This is a love story. It's the story of a second-hand bookshop called Howling Books where people leave letters to strangers, or those they love, or want to love, between the pages of books in the Letter Library.
Henry Jones and Rachel Sweetie are best friends. Or they were. Before Rachel moved away to the sea. Now, she's back, grieving for her brother Cal who drowned in the sea that he loved.
Rachel loves Henry. Henry loves Amy. Amy loves Amy but is happy for Henry to love her too.
This is a book about books. About the power of literature to cradle our past, present and future selves. It's about how we leave ourselves behind when we die. How we leave our histories in the things we love - like books.

This is the most beautiful contemporary books that been written well by Cath Crowley. It grips my heart the moment I start my reading until the end of the chapters. I was very excited to start my reading as I heard many wonderful things about this book which I can't help myself to pick this book as soon as I finish reading the other book.
Words in Deep Blue shows us things about love, loss, and grief. The love for the families, for your other half and friends. It also shows us how it affects us when you lose the person that has been with you for the rest of your life. It also then shows us, love, that you never realize it was there all along. Words in Deep Blue is really a beautiful I have read and it is still lingering on my mind.
Rachel and Henry have been best friends forever, however, when Rachel moved away to another town, she and Henry have been lost contact with one another. But after, Rachel loss her brother, she decided to move to the town and things get a little bit awkward and to make things more awkward, she will work with Henry at Howling Books and that's when their relationship reconcile to how it used to be.
Anyway, what makes this beautiful is that every character in this book are very likable, the interaction between felt so right, so good and there are so many books and the author recommended in the story and for the most part, I love the concept of leaving a letters in between pages and other people will read it and reply the letters - kind of interaction through letters. Even more, the characters are all well developed and it does put me in tears by reading this book.
It is really beautiful and I could not say how much I love this book. Cath Crowley, you have instantly become my favourite author. Cath Crowley's writing is absolutely tremendous - the story, the characters are all fantastic.
There are no words for me to say more how much I love this book and certainly would love to recommend you to read Words in Deep Blue.
This is one of the books that I've been wanting to read for months! Now that I read your review, I get more excited to read it.
